| The last deep coal mine in Britain will close in December 2015. Kellingley coal mines closure will bring to an end the once mighty coal industry, which powered the industrial revolution which gave us all the standard of living we enjoy today. To commemorate our mining heritage both nationally and locally the IVMP team will be holding exhibitions on the history of coal mining. |
