Clifton Hall Colliery was situated on Lums Lane, off Agecroft Road. The pit was connected below ground to Agecroft Colliery a quarter of a mile away. No monument or memorial stands at the site of the mine, which closed in 1933, The IVMP in the near future will be building a memorial on the site of the former coal mine. To remember the Clifton Hall Colliery disaster, to remember victims of the tragedy and to acknowledge all who worked at the former pit.
