The Irwell valley mining projects workers memorial day will take place at 1pm on Saturday the 22nd of April 2017. We will be meeting at the Agecroft colliery memorial to acknowledge the debt we owe to all workers who died or were seriously injured in the coal industry. All welcome. A plaque will be unveiled to the memory of Madge Kelly and Councillor Harry Davies – both IVMP members who died toward the end of last year.
