The 2022 workers international memorial remembrance day will be on Saturday 23rd April. We will assemble 12:45pm at the Agecroft miners monument. Join us to remember all the coal miners who died or were injured in the local coal mines and throughout the world.

On Thursday the 18th June we held a small gathering to remember the 178 men and boys who died in the Clifton hall colliery disaster. We lost 2 great Salfordians this past year, Madge Kelly a miner’s wife and Councillor Harry Davies they both helped to get the Agecroft monument built through there hard work and support.In recognition we have placed a small plaque on the memorial to there memory, Thanks for everything .
