We lost 2 great Salfordians this past year, Madge Kelly a miner’s wife and Councillor Harry Davies they both helped to get the Agecroft monument built through there hard work and support.In recognition we have placed a small plaque on the memorial to there memory, Thanks for everything .

Britain’s last deep coal mine ceased production Kellingley colliery, Yorkshire on the 18 December 2015.
